These vacuum sealing bags are a nice big 11"x24" size. They are honestly bigger than I'm going to use for most things. So I will most likely cut them in half, or even smaller, to make smaller bags, there by more than doubling the number of bags I have.
At 5 mil these are very heavy duty and my vacuum sealer has no problem managing them. It pulls a good vacuum on them and it seals them completely without leaks. Good high quality bags. I will almost certainly get more of these when I run out.

These are the width of the vacuum machine (about 11") and two feet long (24".)
I purchased the construction which has a clear and an opaque side. The bags are a bit heavier than standard vacuum bags. The opaque side will protect the food from light in the freezer. Obviously, you can cut these down and get 3 or 4 quart bags out of each one if you choose.
Great bags for soup or stews–or perhaps sous vide.

I've been using these bags for sous vide. If you use the whole bag, it works great. If you use the bottom or top of the bag, it works great. If you try to cut the bag in three pieces, it doesn't work so well. That's OK. I probably shouldn't be chopping them up into three pieces anyway. As far as how it holds up to sous vide for several hours, it has zero problems. I'm happy.
