Env friendly, US made, need to double the bags, tho

I have been buying these bags for about 2 years. I really prefer to purchase environmentally friendly, American made products when possible. Sadly, when I purchased these last, in September of 2025, the quality has declined. The perforation between the bags does not allow for tearing, so you have to carefully pull them apart and hope that the bottom of the bag doesn’t get holes in it, rendering is useless. When opening some bags they were already split down the side, so scooping large piles was challenging at best. Therefore, I had to take a minimum of two bags on each walk. I will give them one more try before looking for other otptions.

I have purchased these several times and it has generally been a good product. Unfortunately the most recent couple of boxes have had manufacturing issues, especially this last one. There are slits cut into the bottoms of many of the bags, making those ones useless. We guess about 10% are unusable, while an additional 25% have notches cut in the bottom that don't make it all the way through the sealed portion. I was unable to contact them via their website as none of my browsers showed a "send" button on the email form. The boxes also don't have a date or batch number that I can find.

I have had poop bags in the past that I've really had to struggle to open. That is not the case with these. Additionally, because they are made from all natural ingredients, not plastic, the bags will break down in the soil naturally. They are also made in the USA, so I feel good about using them. I will gladly reorder these bags again.

Good bags, they do the job, but no inner core

I had a different brand before, but bought these because of good reviews.
They are good bags, nice size, they do the job. I don’t compost them, but they can go into regular trash and I’m hoping they will compost as they say, cause I can’t verify that. Trying to be more environmentally conscious: used to have an in-ground composting bin for dog poop… that never worked. They don’t compost fast enough.
That said, these bags, unlike other brands, don’t come with an inner tube, so while the roll is about the same size as others, the rolls are soft/squeezable, and don’t quite fit into a standard dispenser unless you remove two or three bags first.
They don’t break while tearing off (I’ve used over half the box now), but they also do not easily tear off from the next bag. Takes a bit of practice. The other brand I had before would tear up by just pulling or “tugging” like a sharp snap. These you have to tear at the dotted line.
I’m not sure if I’ll reorder them because of these two reasons.
While the no inner core is more environmentally friendly since you don’t have anything you throw away, they can make a paper core, instead of plastic, which would make it easier to roll inside the dispenser (that’s what the other brand did).
Not much smell if your bags don’t sit in the trash in the heat, like any other, so don’t expect free of odor: there’s no poopie bags that do that, not even the fancy deodorant ones. LOL!
If you’re looking for sturdy baggies, these are really good though. No disputing that.

These bags are terrible. My fingers went right through each time I’ve used them. Then I had to use a second bag to pick up the first one. I would have sent a photo, but you can imagine how that would’ve looked. They are too thin and very see through. It defeats the whole “eco” purpose because you have to use double the amount. Terrible product.
