How should I Store bioMat Waste Bags?

We recommend storing our bags in dry and cool area (temperature approx. 70°F, humidity approx. 50%). Leave the products in the carton and protect them from direct sunlight. If this is not the case bags will tear more easily!

Do bioMat Food Scrap Bags Compost at Home AND in an Industrial Compost Plant?

YES! Our bags are certified according to TÜV OK Compost Home, BPI and DinCertco – which means that our bags compost in both! The print on our bags says “Compost in an industrial facility” and on the side is our TÜV OK Compost Home logo.

Can I put Wet Food or Liquid in the Bags?

We do not recommend putting liquid (e.g., soup, water, watermelons, mangos, …) in the bags instantly! When it comes to wet food we recommend letting the wet food dry first and then put it in the bag.

Do bioMat Waste Bags contain PFAS, BPA or plastics?

In the production of bioMat waste bags we do NOT use PFAS, BPA or any plastics, we use renewable resources

Each for easy use and storage to provide you a convenient, reliable and hygienic solution to keep your bin clean. Line your bin with our 35 gallon food scrap bags in order to minimize cleaning! Please store your compost liner bags in a cool and dark place. They should be used within one year of purchase. Please note that these food scrap bags are NOT suitable for heavy/wet yard waste!

BPI, CMA (CMA-I, CMA-W, and CMA-A) and TÜV OK COMPOST HOME CERTIFIED: Our large compostable bags are Biodegradable Products Institute (BPI) as well as TÜV Austria Home Compostable certified and meet ASTM D6400 Standards. This certification meets strict industry standards for compostability and biodegradability. Additionally, our compostable bags are certified by the Compost Manufacturing Alliance (CMA-I, CMA-W, and CMA-A). These biodegradable trash bags break down naturally without leaving harmful microplastics behind and usually compost within 90 days in an industrial compost plant.
ODOR REDUCING & TEAR RESISTANT: Our 35 gallon compost bags are specially designed to reduce odors commonly associated with food waste. Made with a 0.87 mil (22 micron) thick multi-layer film, they offer excellent tear resistance, preventing any leakage or mess during use. We recommend replacing the bag every 2–3 days. Let wet food dry and hot food cool before placing it in the bag.
GREEN MANUFACTURING: bioMat compostable trash bags are produced in our carbon neutral manufacturing facility using 100% green electricity and thermal power plants to reduce CO2.
