These are precut bags and measure usable space about 8" X 9.75". 8" is one of the standard widths for vacuum seal bags, but 100 bags with a length of 9.75" for each bag gives you a phenomenal 81+ feet of bag space. Not all usable, of course, but still. The main complaint I have is my usual; no white patch or white strip to be able to write with a ballpoint pen. You have to use a felt tip marker. Depending on the bags contents you could be faced with a black on black scenario and that could be awkward to read. That is really a minor complaint though. The bags are also notched at one end about 1" from the end. Keep in mind that these kinds of bags are not always used for vacuum packing food. A collector can also use them to preserve non-organic items. Would I buy this again? Yes.
