The PES syringe filters are sterilized by gamma irradiation. And they are individually blister packed.
What’s the advantage of sterile PES syringe filters?
PES syringe filters are with highest flow rate and low protein binding. The 0.2μm filters are ideal for sterilization of tissue culture media, protein solutions or aqueous solutions.
Does the sterile syringe filter have a prefilter?
Yes, our sterile syringe filters are made of two-layer membranes. The upper layer with a larger pore size performed as a prefilter, such as 0.65μm prefilter plus 0.22μm for sterilization.
